Shortly after this achievement was accomplished, it was time for Atlas to attain a new goal, therefore, QMC merged with SpinNowledgy Crew to form GROOVE NUTZ CREW, making them an untouchable competitive team in Minnesota. After five years of undefeated crew-on-crew “battling” in the state of MN, Atlas retired on top of his game.
His departure from B-boy battling with Groove Nutz Crew has allowed Atlas to pursue a new born passion – teaching! In 2004, he opened a Martial Arts-based studio in North Saint Paul. As highest ranking instructor, (known as Mr. Amacher), he is responsible for educating and training hundreds of students from all walks of life. He continues to divide his time between his NSP studio and guest-teaching opportunities within Midwest school districts. His teaching seminars offer explicit instruction on Hip-Hop dance styles while promoting the positive (and most often neglected) aspects of Hip-Hop culture.
These significant community involvements have lead Atlas directly to his current undertaking – motivating people to resolve controversy by means of alternative, non-violent forms of physical expression.
“Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don’t quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don’t quit until you reach it. Never quit!”
